Dr. Rerhime Reri Uku

Dr. Reri Uku is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Her expertise lies in her ability to provide quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health
services including medication management to adolescents and adults.
  Her practice is guided by evidence-based treatment approaches that are tailored to meet individual needs and preferences. Her role is multidimensional, including educator, mental health advocate, and therapist.

As a PMHNP, she has a passion for bringing healing to patients who have traumatic and stressful life experiences. 

As an adjunct faculty at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), she values interdisciplinary education and inter-professional collaboration for a student-centered learning approach to provide safe and effective patient care.  

She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Azusa Pacific University in 2018 and her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from National University in 2019. She graduated from California State University, San Bernardino master’s program with majors in Nurse Education and Advanced Community/Public Health in 2014.  She became a registered nurse in 2010 and her background includes experiences in Medical Surgical Nursing, Neurology, Oncology and Psychiatry.

Her interests includes trauma focused care and integration of behavioral health medicine, with a goal to facilitate better outcomes for patients’ with mental health disabilities.

Peter Oziegbe, PMHNP – BC

Peter Oziegbe is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), who constantly demonstrates appropriate theoretical knowledge combined with necessary clinical skills. His passion for mental health, is exhibited by his positive attitude and intellectual curiosity necessary to clarify and enhance his understanding and knowledge of applicable content.

He is dedicated, focus, very self-directed and self-motivated. Peter demonstrates good leadership and team collaborative abilities. Although, with years of experience in Medsurg and Telemetry at St.

Francis Medical Center and Santa Monica UCLA medical center respectively, his interest and years of experience also in mental health while at Star Behavioral Health Group, are galvanizing force that drives his passion in the care of client with anxiety disorder, depression, ADHD, insomnia, psychosis, substance use disorder, and a spectrum of other mental health issues, in a holistic fashion.

Peter is a member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, and American Psychiatric Nurses Association. His academic excellence earned him an invited membership into the Charles Drew University Nursing Honor Society.

Outside his professional life, he enjoys spending time with family, and enjoys classical, jazz, and Christian music. He loves soccer, basketball, and reading.

Ese Ogbetuo, PMHNP

Ese Ogbetuo, PMHNP, has always loved science since childhood hence her determination to pursue a career in the medical field with specialty in both family and psychiatry. She takes particular interest in mental health managing conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, eating disorders, grief and loss. She uses a holistic approach in managing various disorders enabling individuals to maintain a healthy lifestyle and function in society.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys learning about different cultures and loves to travel. She also enjoys cooking, watching movies, shopping, and spending time with her family.
